Graffiti Art Workshop @ Shinjuku - 地球を、開けよう。

先日の茨城のダンスに引き続き、第二弾！
今回はグラフィティ・アートのワークショップです。
場所は新宿区子ども総合センターで、開催しました。
Following the last article of the dance workshop, today I'll introduce you a graffiti workshop at Shinjuku-ku Kodomo Sogo Center, Tokyo (a community center for children).

アーティストさんは石巻でも大活躍してくださったTiti Freakさん。
The artist is Titi Freak, who painted the walls of temporary houses in Ishinomaki for the Japan Foundation project, Community x Graffiti @ Ishinomaki.

子ども総合センターに集まっている、小学校低学年から中学生までのたくさんのこどもたちが、Titiさんとコラボしました！
Children in age ranging from 6 to 15 years old joined the workshop and collaborated with Titi Freak!

大きな紙を用意して、まずはTitiさんがテーマとなるKODOMOの文字を下書き。。
First, Titi drew letters "KODOMO" in rough on a large sheet of paper...

こどもたちにはそこに色をつけてもらおう！というのが今回の企画だったのですが･･･
The project intended to let the children color the letters, but...

あふれ出る才能。
Their talent was unable to be hidden.

さすが、こどもは破壊力が違います。とにかくエネルギッシュ！
ものの10分でこうなりました！！
Children were so energetic with full of expression!
Just in 10 minutes, the artwork was born!!

おとなにはマネできません。
Adults can never do as they do.

Titiさんも「Sugoi expression!!」（ものすごい表現力！）と感心しきりでした。
Titi was also impressed with the power of children and said "unbelievable expression!".

低学年のみんなが書き終わったら今度はお兄さんお姉さんの出番です！
今度はポスカをスプレーに持ち替えて、シュシュシューっとやっちゃってくれました。
After young kids, junior-high school students’ turn now!

Here's a result of the children's expressions.

ここにTitiさんがラストタッチを･･･
And now, Titi gave the last touch on it...

そしてできあがったのが、こちらの作品！
子ども総合センターにちなんだ、KODOMOの文字が浮かび上がるTitiさんとこどもたちのすてきなコラボ作品となりました！
This is the completed painting, which displays the letters of KODOMO after Shinjuku-ku Kodomo Sogo Center.
Such a nice collaboration by Titi and children!

この作品は新宿区子ども総合センターの壁に飾っていただくことになりました！
こどもたちの日常にほんの少しですが、アートな味付けがひとつ加わります♪
The artwork is going to decorate the wall of the Shinjuku-ku Kodomo Sogo Center!
It adds an art flavor to children's everyday life♪
